Matchpunk’s biggest feature is being able to automatically keep track of W/L, rating and ranking in groups or events every time you use Matchpunk as a Magic Life Counter in your Magic games. So, this tournament is going to be different than any other tournament you’ve seen.
Instead of standard single or double-elimination, the “Matchpunk: The Gathering Tournament” will have players play back-to-back 1v1 matches against random opponents, with each match lasting about 20 minutes. All games will be part of the Group GENCON2026. After 6 matches are played, the highest-ranked members will receive a cash prize. And everyone gets a free T-Shirt!
